LeadSnag
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
LeadSnag is a Chrome extension that exports leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator to a CSV file. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your data.
The short version
LeadSnag runs entirely in your browser. It does not send your data to us or to any third party. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes the leads you export. We have no analytics and no tracking.
What the extension accesses
- Lead data on the page you are viewing. When you start an export on a LinkedIn Sales Navigator page, LeadSnag reads the lead information already visible on that page (such as name, title, company, location, connection degree, and profile URL) so it can build your CSV.
- The active tab. Only when you click the extension and start an export, and only on
linkedin.com/sales pages.
What is stored, and where
- On your device only: a one-time activation flag and your export preferences, kept in your browser's local extension storage. These never leave your machine.
- Your exported CSV: saved directly to your computer's Downloads folder. We never receive a copy.
What we do NOT do
- We do not transmit, collect, sell, or share any lead data or personal information.
- We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising.
- The extension makes no network requests and executes no remote code.
Activation codes
Activation codes are generated and verified offline using a shared algorithm. Entering a code does not transmit any information about you.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use exported data, including compliance with LinkedIn's Terms of Service and applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR and CCPA). LeadSnag is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
